Order Australian Native Flowers Delivered in Sydney

Australian natives have a character you won’t get from imported roses or lilies — sculptural banksias, waxy proteas, silvery gum foliage and the soft grey-green tones of eucalyptus. They’re bold, textural and unmistakably Australian, which makes them a favourite for anyone who wants something with a bit more personality than a standard bouquet.

Every arrangement in this collection is made to order at our Sydney studio and delivered the same day across the metro area. Prices start from $45 for a small posy and run through to larger statement arrangements for milestone occasions.

What’s in a native arrangement?

Our native bouquets are built around whatever is looking best at the market that morning, so no two are ever identical. Depending on the season you can expect:

  • Banksia — chunky, textural cones in gold, orange and rust
  • Kangaroo paw — velvety, claw-shaped blooms in red, green and yellow
  • Waratah — the NSW floral emblem, deep crimson and dramatic (winter to spring)
  • Wattle — clouds of tiny golden pom-poms, at its best in late winter
  • Flannel flower — soft white daisy-like blooms with a felted texture
  • Eucalyptus and gum nuts — silver-blue foliage that fills out the arrangement beautifully

We also work with proteas and leucadendrons. These originate from South Africa rather than Australia, but they sit so naturally alongside our local blooms that they’ve become a staple of the native look.

When to send native flowers

Natives suit almost any occasion, but they’re particularly good for:

  • Corporate and office gifts — they’re long-lasting and look sharp in a reception area
  • Sympathy and funeral tributes — the muted, earthy palette feels considered rather than showy
  • Housewarmings and new homes — hardy, low-fuss and full of character
  • Sending to someone interstate or overseas-born — nothing says home quite like a bunch of wattle
  • Anyone who finds roses a bit predictable

How long do native flowers last?

This is where natives really earn their keep. Most varieties will hold for 10 to 14 days with fresh water and a re-cut every few days — roughly double the life of a typical soft-stemmed bouquet. Banksias, proteas and eucalyptus also dry beautifully, so the arrangement can be hung upside down once it starts to fade and kept as a dried display for months afterwards.
